Fall Out Boy
I think I never said but this is one of my fave bands ever.
I was so happy (well I still am) when I heard yesterday that they'll release a new Album this year.
And I was really sad when I heard that they broke up. So anyways, Do you like them?
What's your fave song from them? What do you think about their new Project to save Rock'n'Roll?

Re: Fall Out Boy
As much as I love them, Light 'Em Up is pure shit. I know bands grow up and stuff, but I hope the rest of the album tilts towards a more Under the Cork Tree feel - since that's my favourite album of theirs - over some of the more poppy stuff from Folie á Deux (although some of the songs like West Coast Smoker from there are pretty good).

Save rock and roll is amazing. I love the song feat courtney love and the one featuring elton john
Re: Fall Out Boy
Save Rock and Roll wasn't too bad, better than I was expecting to be honest. They really should have put The Phoenix as the first single, it seems to have been better received and it really gets you ready for the rest of the album. However, the rest of the album really lacks that same quality unfortunately. The album's pure pop, which wouldn't be bad if there were more than 3 catchy songs on there. Unfortunately one of the record's best tunes is wasted on one of the worst songs from it, Light 'Em Up. Alone Together is the only other highlight from the album from me, and even then, it lacks the heavy instruments over Stump's amazing vocals that made FoB so popular in the first place. Instead it's replaced with pure noise. Lots of noise and a bit of a beat. I think that's one of the most disappointing things about this, there is hardly any focus on instruments other than the drums. Everything else seems to be blended into background noise to make it more appealing to nightclubs. It just doesn't work when you try to sit down and listen to the record through. Elton John's cameo suffered from this as well, although it worked better and was one of the better songs on the album.
I'm just glad I didn't waste my money on it.
