How do you listen to Music?

Got Inspired on this from Jamie:
I have a question - how do you listen to music? I´m interested in what role music plays in people´s lives. Do you listen while doing nothing else? Do you listen while doing certain activities? Do you read the lyrics? Is your preferred place in the car, or headphones, or in the park, at work, while studying? How do you find new music? Radio? Internet? Friends? Bars? Do you listen together, or in solitude? Do you buy records, or download?

As a songwriter it´s interesting to know how & what people are responding to....I´m curious for some food for thought.....any random info welcome! x

so... i love to listen to music in general. i don't have a chance to do so constantly cos i'm living together with my fiance, i can only listen to it actually when i'm alone which means he's out or i'm out. when hes out i'm playing my winamp (i'm so oldschool) but i'm not listening to it too loud like i used to when i had been living with my parents in a house and whole days i used to be all alone, i can listen to it as loud as it's possible and not letting my neighbors know what i'm listening to. when i am out i'm always putting on my earplugs on to listen to some really loud music.

i love listening to music when i:
-do my households (laundry, cleaning, cooking) when it's not possible to listen to it from my pc then i'm using my phone (the only mobile player i have, i sold my mp4)
-i'm on the internet (DOMS, GL, FB, GDC and all job sites )
-i'm watching tv (tv is mute )

i'm reading lyrics of songs i really like and wanna know what they're about if i can't hear the words clearly (which means most of RA and SOAD)

i prefer buying cds when i only can afford it. i have all Green Day collection except Transmissions though all my RA stuff is as mp3. this hurts me too cos i really wanna get all their cds as well. i just love to be assured that my favorite bands are earning my money spent on them, it's much better than spending money on any other useless shit cos cds are with me forever (i'm really careful with them, it's my most precious treasure)

I love listening to music. Music is like my life. It inspires me to draw something and do some pretty good art-work for it. Like if i listen to your music, i feel like drawing sonething very positive. And when i listen to something harder like BMTH then i do draw sonething agressive. Back to topic: I listen most to music on my Phone or iPod. But sometimes when i have time i go old-school-ish into a record shop and buy me there some vinyls/cds. And i find new music mostly on megazines, youtube and iTunes. Woa, that's a long story. Oh and yeah, from concerts for sure :P
