Meet with RA

has anyone ever met the band in person? gotten to talk to them? tell us about it

my friend had a chance to meet them and talk to them... aww lucky she!

I wish but no. I find it quite difficult for the amount of people waiting for them after a gig and it maybe sounds stupid but I'd be ashamed! I think I wouldn't know what to say if that really happened someday (who know)

But the way, what did yoy friend tell you about the meeting? I want details!

lol first off, it was my female friend from Kansas City i don't know details, haven't had a chance to talk to her yet.. but sure i will post it here.

and i know how you feel, i'd be ashamed too. i know this feeling.

so i asked her and she told me this:

They were so nice! I got to talk to them and said I had some friends that really liked them but they couldn't get out of work (Brett) & 1 was in Poland (you) & that I promised them I'd do what I could to meet them for them- so I did. Then I handed them 49 Stones CD & said that they'd die if they would listen to it & they said that they were really looking forward to getting a chance to check it out :) They were realllly nice, I couldn't take pictures, but the organization who sponsored their signing (Music Saves Lives) is supposed to put them up soon.

Nah. Never even seen them live. But I'm not really even sure I'll meet them. Like... I want to but what would I say? And honestly, I know there are people who want maybe even NEED to talk to them. Maybe it would mean more to them than it would mean to me, you know? I mean, it would mean a lot to me, but maybe more to other people. So I've yet to think about it... but yeah. I'm always happy to hear people's stories about meeting them. I'm so happy for those people.

Oh... um, thanks I just... I don't know. RA has saved so many people's lives and well, I guess they saved mine in a way but... I don't know. I guess there are people who just feel that they need to meet them, and I guess just talking to them will change their lives in some way... for the better. And there are people who have had it worse than me, people whose lives have been worse than mine, and they're fucking stronger than I am because they have survived. So I think those people deserve to meet RA, more than I do. And if I have the chance to meet them, but can give my spot up for them to do so, then so be it. I would be more than glad to do so. :)

i got to meet them :D best day of my life. unfortunately it was very briefly because it was a meet and greet and they needed to get to the show! but they wanted to stay and make sure everyone at least got to have something signed. i thought it was very honorable. Unfortuneately i didnt say much else other than hi and stare dumbly cuz my mind went blank the minute i saw them haha. i felt like a total idiot. zach made a comment about how he looked funny in the poster i had, which i just kind smiled and did a small laugh haha. and when i got to tim i blurted out real quickly that their music has gotten me through a lot, not sure if he heard me since he was signing the poster at the time XP o well! i was nearly crying when i walked out of that building
