Ellen Hopkins

I don't know if any of you have read her books, but their good. They all talk about heavy stuff, prostitution, sex, drugs, falling in love with the wrong people, family problems, etc.

She's freaking awesome. I've read all of her books, except the ones that came out this year as I haven't bought them.

I'd write a short description of the books but I wouldn't do them any justice.

I definitely recommend you to check them out. Apart from Rise Against they're what have helped me get through.

She also has an adult book, which I haven't read but was out this year or at the end of last year. But I'm sure it's as good as her YA books.

So.. guess I'll say it again. Check her out. Her books are more than worth the read. I hope they can help some of you the way they've helped me.
