i'm so excited for this movie. ican hardly wait. the story before LOTR. the story of Bilbo, the Ring and Thorin Oakenshield and his crew trying to get back what's theirs and been taken by Smaug, the horrible dragon. too bad this movie is divided to parts like LOTR. it's Peter Jackson's movie which means it's gonna be great!

at one point of the book (hopefully the movie too) Thorin is being considered as villain not only by me but by everyone. i never really liked him as much as now when i understand his motives. here's the great article explaining it all, feel free to give it a read In Defense of Thorin Oakenshield

I still cant belive that MArtin Freeman is Bilbo Beutlin (Baggins) and Benedict cumberbatch is smaug. STILL CANT BELIVE. Main reason to watch that movie.

There is an official hobbit soundtrack cd. the joys of working at the Sony music and dvd stock warehouse, I think it's just the background tracks made by the orchestra or whatever from the track listing :L

it's not JUST. It's been recorded at Abbey Road and it's just awesome. My favorite is the last one, Dreaming of Bag End. It makes me cry

I saw the Hobbit last night, like it, but the ending point was bad sad

In my opinion, but it will lead nicely into the next movie.
