Sonia's poems
My poems :
Ruins Of Roses:
Here I stand, In the middle
Of the ruins of roses
Everything beautiful,
Is dead and gone
Every memory, faded
Life and death and separated
By a very fine line
The same line
That divides me
Somewhere in my mind
If you aren't here
I'm a ghost, I walk all alone.
No one will see,The tears I cry.
They are hidden
By the pain in my eyes
All i posses,Is one last breath
As I stand, In the ruins of roses.
Ruins Of Roses:
Here I stand, In the middle
Of the ruins of roses
Everything beautiful,
Is dead and gone
Every memory, faded
Life and death and separated
By a very fine line
The same line
That divides me
Somewhere in my mind
If you aren't here
I'm a ghost, I walk all alone.
No one will see,The tears I cry.
They are hidden
By the pain in my eyes
All i posses,Is one last breath
As I stand, In the ruins of roses.

Thanks
Here's another one:
A Distant Memory:
Do you remember all the sacrifice?
Do you remember all the compromise?
Do you ever think of the long days and nights?
How we would fight, for what we thought was right,
Do you miss that, like you miss me?
The way I miss you when you're gone
Those memories are all that's left
Because you're gone
I don't know where, I don't know how
But I know I'll never see you again
life is now so difficult to live
And I have nothing left to give
In exchange for a little happiness
A smile is now a distant memory
A smile that once came so easily
You made me believe that it would last
Now it's only on the past
I can never run away far enough
For me to forget all the love
That we shared, and how much we cared
If you're still out there
I hope you hear me cry
As, all alone, I wonder why
I ended up this way

Re: Sonia's poems
The Pain Of Falling:
Behind the walls of everything and anything
I find myself searching for something
Something that will help me realise
That in this life there is no real prize
There's just a line that divides me, you
And the dreams that will never come true
I fade into the background I call life
I prefer to stay where no one will see me cry
I rather die, than have everyone know I'm weak
But I am weak, too weak to ever feel strong
I'm never right, but I'm used to being wrong
I run away form the truth, that strangles me
It's caught me by the neck,
And it's holding me back,
I can only run so far, until my legs give in
I'm falling again, into the deepest trench
This time, I'll stay down,
It's never worth working hard to climb back up
Because now I know, I'll fall again
It's not worth the pain of falling
So I've given up on climbing
Don't tell me I'm better than that
Because I already have proof that I'm nothing
Behind the walls of everything and anything
I find myself searching for something
Something that will help me realise
That in this life there is no real prize
There's just a line that divides me, you
And the dreams that will never come true
I fade into the background I call life
I prefer to stay where no one will see me cry
I rather die, than have everyone know I'm weak

Breaking Into Pieces:
I'm breaking into more pieces than I can count
And its all because, you aren't around
Cause you're on my mind, when faith is hard to find
You're on my mind when nothing else is right
You're on my mind right now
Because I'm about to break down
And go back to the hell from which I came
I need you to save me again
I feel so lost and faithless
Like life itself is worthless
And I have no one to rely on,
To trust, to love, and live for
I need you more than anyone,
Even more than you need me
Because I see, you need no one
And that impresses me
It makes me rethink my whole life
A life of reliance and self defiance
Makes me wish I was more like you
And no one mattered to me,
But you do, you've taken my breath away
And I wouldn't have it any other way
With one last breath, I must say,
I love you
I'm breaking into more pieces than I can count
And its all because, you aren't around
Cause you're on my mind, when faith is hard to find
You're on my mind when nothing else is right
You're on my mind right now
Because I'm about to break down
And go back to the hell from which I came

Ghosts In The Dark:
Why are we so possessive of what we've lost?
And why are we like ghosts in the dark?
Like the broken links on a rusted chain
Like a lost child in the falling rain
Why do we cry for no reason to smile?
And why have we given up on the worth while
Just so we can find false shelter
And convince ourselves that life is better
In a place so far away
Where we still long to see the light of day
We lie to ourselves just so we can fall asleep
And lose ourselves in mindless dreams
When we can be happier than ever before
And we can be satisfied and never want more
We've finally felt what was never defined
The feeling that haunts us in the back of our minds
But the feelings just a dream
That disappears when we wake up to reality
A reality built for everyone, except you and me.
Why are we so possessive of what we've lost?
And why are we like ghosts in the dark?
Like the broken links on a rusted chain
Like a lost child in the falling rain
Why do we cry for no reason to smile?
And why have we given up on the worth while

Hiding Behind A Disguise:
I find safety in the silence
And every word you say
I find help in the hopeless
In hope that you'll stay
I fine myself in the darkness
Of all your lies
I see you hiding
Behind a disguise
I understand the pain you feel
Because I feel it too
I know the hell you're in
Because I've been there too
You what to run away
I want to come with you
Because the worlds getting colder
And you're the only one I trust
Life's getting harder
And you know I need you here
If you're here we can forget
About every regret
And we can isolate ourselves
To find our place in loneliness
I find safety in the silence
And every word you say
I find help in the hopeless
In hope that you'll stay
I fine myself in the darkness
Of all your lies
I see you hiding
Behind a disguise
I understand the pain you feel

Unknown/Faded Dreams:
There are no angels left to save me
And my deamons won't desert me
I have no where to be
I'm stuck here in purgatory
Unfazed by the storm
My life goes on
The never ending torment of a new day
I watch the people I love fade away
We lost ourselves between our dreams
And our realities, things we just can't see
And things we will never know
The things that made us who we are
And showed us where we'll never go
Would you show me the difference,
Between heaven and hell
I promise I'll never tell,
What I've seen, what I know
To the strangers, lost in the snow
I'll never show anyone
The long lost life we've chosen to lead
I'll never make another promise or vow to you,
Because I'll break them, when you break me
Goodbye, fond memory,
Of the unknown
There are no angels left to save me
And my deamons won't desert me
I have no where to be
I'm stuck here in purgatory
Unfazed by the storm
My life goes on
The never ending torment of a new day
I watch the people I love fade away
We lost ourselves between our dreams
And our realities, things we just can't see

Because I'll break them, when you break me
Goodbye, fond memory,
Of the unknown

Re: Sonia's poems
You Hurt Me:
When you hurt me,
Do you even know what you do to me?
Tearing me apart so quietly, so neatly
Until I'm a hundred broken pieces
Until I'm too broken to ever be fixed
Until I'm so weak that anything can hurt me.
Thats what you do to me, unintentionally.
It's beautiful, how you don't understand
What you do to me everyday
I'm miserable, because you don't understand me
I'm alone, even when everyones around,
If you aren't here, but never as alone
As I am when you let silence take over
And participate in my torture,
I beg of you, to tell me
For once, that you love me, and need me,
I want you to mean it,
But I refuse to call you a liar,
So don't say it, and forget I ever existed
It's best I disappear before the pain gets worse
It's best I let myself turn to dust,
In hope that you'll remember me when I'm not around
And wonder what we'd have found,
If you'd just said, what I've always felt.
When you hurt me,
Do you even know what you do to me?
Tearing me apart so quietly, so neatly
Until I'm a hundred broken pieces
Until I'm too broken to ever be fixed
Until I'm so weak that anything can hurt me.

Re: Sonia's poems
Shallow Eyes:
I stare into the eyes
Of people I don't know
I hear the silent cries
Of a life long ago
I still feel the pain
Of old, covered wounds
I still remember cold nights
In quiet empty rooms
I watch time fly
As I stay right here
Hoping that you'll come back
And stay, for a day, month or year
I hope you'll hold me
And tell me you'll never leave
I hope you'll smile
Into my shallow eyes
And teach them to see
The bright side of insanity
I hope we'll remember
What we ment to each other
I can keep hoping
For the hopeless
But you'll never
Come back here
I stare into the eyes
Of people I don't know
I hear the silent cries
Of a life long ago
I still feel the pain
Of old, covered wounds
I still remember cold nights
In quiet empty rooms
I watch time fly
As I stay right here
Hoping that you'll come back
And stay, for a day, month or year
I hope you'll hold me
And tell me you'll never leave
I hope you'll smile
Into my shallow eyes
And teach them to see
The bright side of insanity
I hope we'll remember
What we ment to each other
I can keep hoping
For the hopeless
But you'll never
Come back here

Re: Sonia's poems
Save Me:
I'll follow you where ever you go
And if theres something you'll never know
It's how much I love you,
And dream that you'll see me the way I see you
And you'll finally understand the pain of being alone
Wishing there was someone to fix your broken bones
And take you to where you've never been before
Take me home
In the darkness of every lie
That's where I wait to die
With the slightest glimmer of hope
That you'll save me.
And when the pain takes over the love
Like it is right now
I pray that you'll remind me
That I'm still not done
When the sun doesn't shine anymore,
I'll be here like I was before
When I needed to see you smile
Like I do right now
And if I never live to see you again
I need you to understand
That I'll be right here waiting,
For you to come to me again
I'll follow you where ever you go
And if theres something you'll never know
It's how much I love you,
And dream that you'll see me the way I see you
And you'll finally understand the pain of being alone
