Ruins Of Roses:

Here I stand, In the middle
Of the ruins of roses
Everything beautiful,
Is dead and gone
Every memory, faded
Life and death and separated
By a very fine line
The same line
That divides me
Somewhere in my mind
If you aren't here
I'm a ghost, I walk all alone.
No one will see,The tears I cry.
They are hidden
By the pain in my eyes
All i posses,Is one last breath
As I stand, In the ruins of roses.

Why is it so hard to forget
But so easy to regret
That suddenly, it's like a dream
Were you ever here at all?
Between me and you,
Dreams came true
But they disappeared,
Before we even had the time
To decide where we wanted to go
You disappeared, into the shadows.
Places the happiness refuses to go.
Places I'll never know,
Do you remember everything?
Things I considered unimportant,
Simply because I was too foolish
To understand your perfection

I'm so afraid of falling from this feeling

In a state of complete denial
You defile the glory of truth

You'll never be satisfied

Everything they said you wouldn't
You'll never be pleased with yourself
Until you've defied
Everything they said you'd do
It's not who you are
But what you've chosen to be
That's done this to you
You say no one matters
But your heart needs someone
You say you couldn't be better
But you hide the thoughts that haunt you
you've given up on reality
Because it scars you
If you hide, the wont look for you
If you hide, they won't find you
If you hide, they'll still ignore you
If you hide, they wont remember you

I've tried to understand

I've tried to make ends meet
To save the ground bellow my feet
I've convinced myself
That the most beautiful lies
Are just twisted truths

In ways I cant understand
I ran to you for safety
But you just ran away
I looked to you for comfort
But you just looked away
I gave my heart to you
But you just gave it away
Everything you do hurts me
But they're words I'll never say
Now I know to never
Give my heart away

Hanging on by a thread
A puppet in your hands
The story of my misery never ends
And I'll never run out of words
I'll never have the strength to say
How I really feel
Don't take advantage of my pain
I've sent too long swearing at the rain
Blaming everyone, but myself,
For where I am
But right now, theres no one to blame,
But you, I blame you for how I feel

In my dry mouth
All the love, has been ripped out of my heart
So innocently and unconsciously
I can't blame you, when I know I hate me
I found safety in my silence,
Until it swallowed me
Until it brought you down, with me
Comfortable in my suffering,
I'll nerve let this feeling go
Because no matter what happens
Theres no one I'll love more

Learning to give up:

I've tried as hard as I could to turn my life around
But all my efforts and all my hopes fall to the ground
I hold on to what isn't there,
My memories are of all things that were never here
And you'll be a memory, before I even learn to forget.
Because I've tried too long and too hard,
I kept holding on to see of you ever made sense
Now I'm learning to give up,
And stand up by myself,
To fight the never ending battle alone
You gave me hope and lifted me up
And now I'm falling from the cloud,
That I've been floating on for too long
Suddenly your lies and lack of trust
Become crystal clear,
All you said that you were is suddenly
Learning to disappear
I refuse to fight, if I can't win,
But I'll always be the loser to you
So as I fall and fade away,
Don't forget how I loved you.

Broken pieces of everything I was
Hurt so much, to look back on
